Summer 2012 - Day 13

Today's post should be shorter than the post for Day 12.

I woke up early and made myself some food for breakfast before helping Dad feed his cows and the cats. I took a nap on the couch until about 10am, when I had another sausage, then got ready to go to Rapids with my mother. We went to the bank and I signed the will documents in front of the Notary. Then we went to the hardware store and the West Side IGA.

The new shed.

Ack! Some weirdo lives here! Oh, it's just my dad.

There was scary construction work happening at the shed - use of a circular saw in ways that scared the living crap out of me, so I avoided it by walking around, taking other photos.

Some random shots - on the left, when I was a child, that area was full of daisies.

When I get back, my parents gave me a task of picking rocks out of dirt. My sister later asked me why they had me do that, to which I replied that it was a discrete task that they wanted done and did not involve dangerous power tools, so I figured that I might as well do it.
